Frank Wenjie Liao is a fiction director working across London, Canton and Shanghai. He is currently completing an MA in Fiction Directing at NFTS in the UK. His work combines grounded realism with contemporary genre storytelling, often exploring individuals caught within systems, environments and choices larger than themselves. Working in both Chinese and English, Frank creates precise visual worlds centred on emotionally honest performances.
